FIRST LOOK: Horses of the West

“FIRST LOOK: Horses of the West”

You fine readers may be wondering how our sterling team traversed the West with such swiftness. My, that’s a question that can only be answered with feet placed firmly in a pair of stirrups.

Horses have been a cornerstone of the West for as long as the West has existed. It was on their strong backs that we’ve come as far as we have. Though, as combatants soon headed towards our neck of the woods, you may see our four-legged friends as more than just the way forward.

On the free-fire frontier, horses provide players (which I’m told is what I should call you fine folk) with a grand advantage of height, adaptability, and yes, speed. Whether you’re an aggressor forcing an unfortunate soul into a rock and a hard place, or a forsaken fighter riding the wake of an impending sandstorm, a horse is worth its weight in gold.

You’ll see that we’ve been hard at work making these beautiful beasts not only function as they should–but look damn good doing it too.

By making use of Nvidia Hairworks, brighter minds than I are making these noble steeds look as great as they can possibly look. By the end of their blossoming, these horses will look like they belong on the front of a romance novel.

Like with most things in these early days, we’ve got much work to do. In the future, we’ll be discussing how different horse breeds play different roles in the West. As you could guess, each breed will suit a different playstyle in WANTED: Dead Men Walking.

For now, look upon these stunning beauties and let them show you just how hard our team is working to make sure WANTED will be the best battle royale around.
