“WANTED’S Progress Comes ‘Streaming’ In”
Whew-wee, does it feel good to have my fingers back upon this here typewriter. As some of my readers may have noticed, ol’ Inkblot Brewster took a hiatus from the writing. That is not to say, however, that it was a planned vacation. What was intended to be a short trip up to a new survey site down into the Bloodsimmer Canyons turned into a two-week fight for my survival as I became stuck down in the canyons and without the arm strength to haul myself back out.
But I was eventually found, thank the Lord above, and I’ve returned to our quaint town with only a few injuries to my name. The doc has described the severity of my sunburn as “pigmentally volcanic,” but I can’t feel a bit of it! I can’t feel anything on my face at all, actually. Something about the nerve endings being completely burned away…But I am alive!
And for my first article back, I would like to present to you, my dear readers, the newest initiative from the WANTED team: regular development streams!
Yes indeed, coming to you live via Twitch and Youtube, our developers, artists, and others will be streaming their work for you to feast your eyes upon, and for you to maybe even throw a question or two their way. Their projects could be a peek at our next grand undertaking, or it could be simply making sure everybody in town has pants around their waist–either way, you’ll want to stop by and see what our team is working on!
We’ll be streaming live several times a week, but don’t fret if you aren’t able to tune in on the day. We’ve got ourselves quite the Youtube channel and it’s quickly becoming stock-full of our past streams. Make sure to subscribe to our channel so you’ll know when we’re making moves, you hear?
Of course, there’s our Twitter page. That’s where you’ll be able to hear first-hand when we’re going live through these magical devices that’ll show our screens on yours.
Streaming…hah! I remember when “streaming” meant my sisters would throw my shoes into the stream near our homestead and I’d have to go in and fetch them. Now THAT was streaming. I’m not sure about this new fad you’re all so crazy about. That just sounds like witchcraft to me.
Witchcraft or not, the WANTED team has its sights set on making a regular streaming schedule so you’ll always know when to catch us. We also hope to host streams for specific occasions–things like Q&As and social events. Hell, maybe I’ll even stop by and see what all the hubbub is about. Then again, perhaps not.
EDITOR’S QUESTION OF THE DAY: What kind of themed streaming events would you like to see from the WANTED team?
